Marianne Dewar
Marianne Dewar is a Senior Meeting/Event Planner of Meeting Management Services. A business administration graduate of Sheridan College, Marianne has spent more than a quarter of a century planning and producing a myriad of successful events.

Her in-depth knowledge of the non-profit health care sector is readily apparent in a range of educational conferences that have brought new and expanded knowledge to their participants.

Marianne Dewar is a member of the Independent Meeting Planners Association of Canada.

Ron Dewar
As President and Senior Meeting/Event Planner Ron Dewar has been involved in more than 300 conferences and events in his career, many with budgets of over one million dollars and attracting as many as 40,000 participants.

For 18 years Ron successfully guided the Dofasco Special Events Department overseeing 150 meetings and events including international VIP visits and conferences. An accomplished public speaker, his experience at Dofasco also included more than 400 educational projects for customers, university and high school students.

Ron Dewar is a graduate of the Business Management Program at Sheridan College and supplemental courses in Food and Beverage Management. He completed the Metallurgical Engineering Technology Program at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto.

Ron is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the International Special Events Society and the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

He is a Special Events Course Instructor at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario and offers a wide range of conference and event management topics to industry groups.
